Bible Study

In addition to regular Sunday school opportunities, several groups meet regularly for Bible study.  Each group has its own focus and unique character; however, all are committed to gaining a greater understanding of God.

Disciple Classes

The Disciple series is an in-depth Bible study with a specific curriculum held from August through May. Some classes meet on Sunday evenings while others meet during the week.  Workbooks can be purchased through the church office.  Video segments accompany each lesson. The commitment of each individual to preparation and attendance is necessary for the spiritual growth of all class members.
Contact person:  Church office at 770-751-0033.

Men's Bible Study

This group meets on Monday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in the senior pastor's office to study and discuss the weekly lectionary selections.

Prayer Groups

Wednesday Living Prayer Group

This small group meets on Wednesdays, either in the library or at the Prayer Labyrinth, depending on the weather.
During the APC summer schedule, the group meets in the morning, but during the regular church schedule it meets at 4:15 p.m.
Two activities are central to the group:  one is discussion around a particular book, and the other is a time of prayer.
