Deacons

Our diaconate leads us in ministries of sympathy, compassion, service and witness. Their primary concern is the needy, sick and friendless. The APC deacons are organized into several care teams, each one with a primary contact person. |

The Hospitality Care Team reaches out to new and less active members. They also contact college students, military, and others who are temporarily away. John Hicks is the team leader. Email John. |

The Companion Care Team ministers to the home bound. They visit, call, and deliver flowers, cards, or meals. Carolyn Dillon is the team leader. Email Carolyn. |

The Hospital & Recovery Care Team supports hospitalized members and their families, as well as those recovering from or dealing with health issues. They visit and deliver flowers, cards, and meals. Paul McChesney is the team leader. Email Paul. |

The Sympathy and Celebrations Care Team supports families in times of joy and sorrow. They support with prayer, phone calls, cards, flowers and meals. Celebrations may include births, baptisms, confirmations, graduations and weddings. The team leader is Steve Ludlow. Email Steve. |
