Ongoing Activities

     

 

FUN WEDNESDAYS

 

   Dinner   5:15 - 6:00 PM

          Take a break from your busy week to join your church family for a great dinner prepared by Chef Doug starting at           5:15 p.m.in Fellowship Hall. We are no longer taking reservations for FW Dinners.  Please sign in as you pay for your dinner. 

          We also have "Clean-Up Teams" that help clean up the kitchen after dinner from 6:00 - 6:30 PM and also Fellowship Hall.  If you would like to           help clean-up contact Sheryl Wentworth at sherylwentworth@comcast.net.

   Children's Activities  6:00-7:15 PM

     Activities for children include:

  • Little ones playing in the nursery
  • Games, Bible stories, crafts, and singing
  • 5:16 players theatrical practice in the fall
   Adult Christian Education
     The adult education program runs from 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. . Topics include guest mission speakers, Bible study,
     faith discussions and music programs. 
 
     Some Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Fellowship Hall for adults we have Unwind....with Worshhip on Wednesdays.  This will be a time to relax      and come together with a worship that includes The Light, The Call, The Praise, The Sharing, The Word, The Response, The Prayers, The      Mission, and The Blessing.
 
 

Sunday Breakfast 

 
Enjoy a full breakfast buffet in our fellowship hall for a low price. The breakfast is prepared by volunteer teams of men and is served from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.   The last food that is prepared for breakfast is placed in the buffet at 9:30 AM.  Clean-up for the kitchen crew begins at 9:30 AM and ends in time for the men to attend the 11:00 worship service.  Sunday Breakfast Team Coordinator is Ted Lynam.
  
 

S.T.A.R.S.      (Seniors Travel Art Recreation Social)

 
This active seniors' group stays busy visiting museums, attending concerts and touring local sites of interest. It also supports local charities. Anyone is welcome to attend its potluck lunch meetings which are currently held on the second Wednesday of each month at noon in our fellowship hall. Coordinator is Kathleen Wien.
 
 

Women’s Ministries

Just for Men 

 
Visit the Men's Ministries page to learn about Sunday breakfast teams, softball, basketball and men's Bible study.
 

ACT1 Theater

 
Our award-winning theater group provides wholesome entertainment and recreation for our community as auditions and behind-the-scenes positions are open to all. ACT1 typically offers three mainstage shows per year in addition to several smaller productions.

Supper Six 

 
Our regular small group dinners promote personal interaction.  The rotation scheme allows you to meet many people, as you are dining with different people each month. Couples and singles can participate. The more people who participate, the more people you will meet!  Coordinators are Art and Lynn Adams.
 
 

APC Book Club 

 
Calling all readers! The APC Book Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in our fellowship hall.  Book selections are publicized in the weekly bulletins and the Good News e-newsletter. All are welcome....bring a friend!         Coordinator is Katie VanBrackle.
